Over the decades, our profession—that is, the materials and areas of responsibility—has fundamentally changed, accelerated, evolved, supposedly simplified, and become more standardized. Is that what we want? To make people uniform as individuals?
And some things have remained unchanged. The need to see our patients happy and smiling. For me, in my work, it’s absolutely crucial to seek out, demand, and offer direct contact with my patients.
Simply put, to continue prioritizing the human element above all else.
This inevitably means carefully selecting materials and making decisions to achieve our goals. There’s a suitable solution for every patient.
